Do I get spare keys with any second hand vehicle? Yes - while a lot of vehicles that come out of Japan do not have spare keys we insist on providing our clients with such.
Do you have referees we can contact? Yes, we have sold vehicles predominantly to Zimbabwe as that is where we have been established longest. In 2005 we sold over 50 Land Cruisers there. If you would like to contact one of our many clients in Zimbabwe please ask us and we will refer you. We have also have clients in both of the Congo’s, Kenya, Zambia, Sudan, Mali and Mozambique
Do you accept payment by credit card? No, we only accept payment by telegraphic transfer into our account in most major currencies.
Why is there no condition grades on second hand vehicles? Price is normally a solid indicator of condition. In addition we can arrange for an independent AA test to be done on any vehicle purchased. The results of this test will be faxed or e mailed to you the client upon payment of a deposit to cover such fees. By doing this we alleviate any stresses and concerns about the condition of the vehicle you are purchasing. We insist on you getting this report.
Is the mileage genuine? Each individual vehicle purchased through us is checked manually for any evidence of tampering. Unlike some car dealers we have never had a problem with this.
How long will it take for my vehicle to arrive? Our clock starts ticking from receipt of funds cleared and generally the time frame is 8 weeks, however this cannot be guaranteed due to the outsourcing of shipping and different shipping lines to your port of destination.
Do you offer new vehicles and if so will they have a warranty or a service plan? Yes we do offer new vehicles - the Toyota Vigo range we sell are brand new but unfortunately we do not offer a service plan with these vehicles.
What about duty? We have no control over the duty rates of the country that we are exporting to. Our advice is to contact a reputable import or clearing agent in your country to clear customs for you.
What happens if the vehicle is damaged in transit? Please read the terms and conditions of your quote carefully, if it says C.I.F (cost, insurance, freight) to your destination port, then it is comprehensively insured. However, we do advise you take out comprehensive insurance from date of arrival in the port.
What if I can't find the vehicle I am looking for? Ask us to find it.
What do I need to import my vehicle into my country of origin? Certain countries do not permit the importation of used vehicles eg: USA and South Africa. Other countries have requirements that must be fullfiled for example in Kenya you need an OMIC number, and Australia and new Zealand have strict requirements for which types of vehicles may be imported. Several other countries including Zambia and Zimbabwe require the payment of duties and VAT. Ask us for further information about the country in question.
